Frequently Asked Questions

Can I be present when you are staging my home? Do I need to be at the property?

We prefer that the agent provide us with access to the property via combo lock box or supra. When homeowners or agents are on site it can cause a distraction or delay in completing the staging process.

Can I have any input as to what you will put in my home?

Our selections are not based on the seller or agent’s personal taste. We stage to sell with the intent to reach the broadest market of buyers. All furniture and accessory selections are per our preference and professional expertise based on the age of the home, layout, architecture, and buyer demographic.

What style of furnishings do you use?

We use a transitional style of furnishing for staging. This is a clean-lined, fresh, neutral look designed to highlight the architecture of the home. Our goal is to make rooms appear larger, showcase the square footage of the home, and appeal to the widest range of buyers.

Can I have my painters and contractors in the home during the same time you'll be staging?

It’s best to have all home improvements completed before we stage. Staging should be the last thing done prior to photography- ideally the same day!

How long will the install take?

Depending on the size of the home, staging will take just 2-4 hours.

When should I call you to remove the staging?

We ask that you give us at least 5 days of notice (optimal 10 days) so that we can schedule the movers. We typically remove the furnishings after inspections and financing contingencies have been released.

Can I move anything or make any changes after the install?

Furnishings and accessories are strategically placed to highlight the home’s features and provide focal points that will draw the buyer into the room. INhance IT! personnel are the only people authorized to handle these furnishings.

Do you provide window treatments?

We typically recommend that the seller remove all fabric drapes, valances, and sheers prior to staging. It is o.k. to leave various blinds. The goals is to let the most natural light as possible into the property and highlight the surrounding view.

Our goal is to make the staging process as streamlined and stress free as possible. If you have any other questions related to the staging process, please feel free to contact our office at 314-486-5354.
