We research the demographic of the buyer for each property and know what they want. As a seller it is important to remember that staging showcases the features of the house, not the furnishings. What the buyer wants is typically different than what the homeowner thinks they want. Because we have the EPS (Expert Psychological Stager) training, we know how to get into the mind of the buyer. Our specific staging goals as an EPS are to make a room appear larger, to make a room appear more high end, and to accentuate the positives and to down play the negatives. In order to do this, the homeowner’s personal taste needs to be put to the side.
