Here are a few ways to take control of your “stuff” without getting overwhelmed. You will see results fast, and many people who have completed these, say it becomes an addicting habit to minimalize and keep clutter out once and for all!

The Challenge: Each time you buy a new item, you remove an item it replaces. This works from cosmetics to electronics, and everything in between.

The Challenge: Made famous by Oprah Winfrey, this challenge is perfect for those struggling to let go of their clothes. Turn all your hangers in the reverse direction, once you wear an item, put the hanger back as you normally would. At the end of six months any items that are still hanging in reverse should be donated.
Why it Works: This takes almost no effort at all to complete, it can even be called “the lazy persons hack to organization!”
Results: Much more closet space, and less time searching for something to wear.
- 30 Bags in 30 Days
The Challenge: Every day for 30 consecutive days fill one bag of items to discard. This challenge becomes popular around December, as people are in the spirit of giving, want to create more space for the items entering their house at Christmas, and start the New Year with an organized living space, but we encourage you to give it a shot no matter what time of year it is.
Why it Works: You can decide to do any number of days and bags you want, such as 7 bags in 7-day challenge. It alters to fit your lifestyle, and you will be surprised that it doesn’t take much effort to fill a bag a day!
